The group s conservation programs have evolved and expanded over the years to…. Its facilities include a swimming pool,…. Cons No more raises when you cap out. I have been here 3 months and I do not recommend working here. The overall job culture is not professional. There was no one to train me so my supervisor had to do it, and she kept going out of town during my trainings which led me to fend for myself.
The systems are old. There is no punishment for co-workers acting out which leads to a hostile work environment. The managers act like they care but they do not. It is just not a very promising job or any real opportunity for advancement. The good is they promote diversity. However, I have been in situations here where my team members were cursing in front of patients! I am saddened because I was legitamately looking fwd to this job but now I see that this here is a sham.
It's toxic and they don't actually care about you. Pros convenient location. Cons no manager accountability, lack of training, ghetto workplace. I worked for this agency in a federal facility.
The company made sure I had training for the atmosphere I was placed in. Great group of coworkers and management. Was sorry to see this contract end. Managers do training but ate on phone most of the time. You basically get 2 days training thenee rely on other employees to train you. Manager is in another stat. Cons Lack of training. Loved this temporary position!
Remote position that was to be months ended up being over 3 months, which I was thankful for. I was leery, but better pay than some and temporary. I ended up loving it! Everyone I had to communicate with was great!
I was asked a few times to help others and gladly did. I really hope this company has more of these types of temporary projects. Just a perfect fit!! The one thing I will mention is that recruiter told me it was 8 hrs a day 5 days a week M-F ANY hours you wanted and it ended up basically being an job the whole time.
Worked fine for me though. Also several times I took the opportunity to work overtime. Pros Work from home - their equipment-great people. Cons Some projects could have paid a bit higher.
As an entry Level Provider Enrollment Specialist there were a lot of materials to go over however there wasn't any time or seriousness in the training. I spent 6 months shadowing under a Team Lead who spent a majority of the time swamped in their own tasks which left me without a lot of important information when it was time to take on my own clients. Fortunately I am resourceful and a fast learner so I was able to handle the job and take care of the tasks assigned.
With management that had no idea what the department truly did, there was a lot of miscommunication and more pressure to get the money without having pride in quality of work. In turn, the department was criticized on the quality after the fact of being pushed to turn applications for revenue. The turnover rate was extremely high and nobody was able to have time to train any newcomers so the cycle continued.
Pros Flexible Schedule, Delightful Coworkers. Your never left with no support or help. Excellent trainer, good Supervisors, Helpful support staff. Lots of employee assistance programs and activities available. Pros Plenty of support and teamwork to help you succeed. Cons Pay. The training is non existent, they keep piling on more work and they raise you.
The management is incompetent and causes an environment of stress and resentment. There is massive favoritism and you are expected to look the other way or else.

The job can be stressful at times, as can any job, but at the end of the day you know you have helped someone and that's what matters the most! Pros Flexible hours, work from home, support from management. Cons Minimal pay increases. Yes No There are 1 unhelpful reviews 1. Great coworkers, horrific management. The company was bought out by an overseas company, when that happened it ruined everything. The company sets unrealistic goals and threatens to layoff if you do not meet them.
They do not train people to do the job and punish those whom they have failed to train! Yes There are 9 helpful reviews 9 No. Awesome place to work! I enjoy working for MedAssist! I did not have a background in medical billing coming into the company. I was given the information, tools and training that I needed to do my job.
If you are willing to take the tools and do the work, you will enjoy working for MedAssist. Yes There are 13 helpful reviews 13 No There are 4 unhelpful reviews 4. So disorganised. No training or what training there is is awful.
The computers and systems are so old. I could never get my computer to work right. When you need help, you have to call the Philliphines or India and then you can't understand them. I thought this job would let me help people; I just call and ask for money.
Then you get yelled at.
